• Getting ready to find the magic idol
    • We’ve been given healing potions by someone working for the baron
    • We’ve been given a detailed map
    • We’ve been given some magic glasses which they think are necessary to be able to find the tower
    • The tower used to be run by a group of wizards
      • The wizards have collected powerful magic items and keep them stored in the tower.
  • We wake up in the morning and the Baron has left us some horses
  • We camp on the road on the first night
    • During watch
      • Mostly uneventful
      • Forber catches someone sort of watching us and then just scurries off after noticing Forber seeing him
  • We arrive at the area where the tower is
    • Forber puts on the glasses
    • After exploring a bit, he sees the tower
  • The Tower
    • It is wonky looking
    • Quite tall
    • Very juxtaposed against calm environment otherwise
    • Tower surrounded by the fog in a way that is incongruous with the calm, nice day and the calm surrounding forest
    • To us, it looks like a very forested, untouched area
      • Upon careful looking
        • To me, it seems to be an illusion is covering something
        • Familiar based on background
  • Forber and Wang are going to sneak up close to the tower
    • Fober has cast his spell that let’s him communicate mentally with me
    • Me, Wang, and Thranley are tying up the horses and waiting
  • We all approach the tower
    • It takes awhile because there is some spell causing fear
    • We just see a bunch of stones
      • Forber sees a dark stone tower
        • There’s an arch with some ruins
        • Moss covered
        • Plinth in the middle
        • Sunlight coming in but darkened by fog
        • There plinth has a fist with a gem in hand
  • We all step forward
    • Forber: Run into an invisible barrier
    • We can enter
    • Forber takes off the glasses
      • he can then come in the tower
      • After entering the tower, Forber can take the glasses of and see the room
    • On the wall
      • Glyphs
        • Diamond
        • Knight
        • Hand
        • Wyvern/Dragon
    • We touch the hand symbols and the hand opens and the gem falls
      • The walls seal sealing us
      • A hole in the ceiling 15ft up
    • I toss Wang up into the next level
  • Second Floor
    • The room is open to the environment with a floating ceiling
    • A set of 3 statues of demons engaged in combat
      • One with a long snout with a flail with a gem
      • The first demon is being rushed by another bald one with snarling fangs and it has a bright orange and red colored flame
      • Third demon has three eyes and a single giant
        • Has a triple forked trident with a space for gem
    • Twelve pointed star on the floor
    • We all make our way up by climbing
    • We place the gem in the slot and the demons move closer together and they are each holding up the gem
    • We shine light on each gem
      • Only the yellow on responds and gets very bright
      • Fire on the red gem and it pings to life
      • Water on the blue gem and pings to life
    • The twelve pointed star comes to life
      • It’s a teleportation portal
    • We all hold hands and jump into the teleportation portal
  • Third room
    • Very hot and dry
    • Room is twice as wide
    • Big circular glowing platform
    • Grass on the ground around us
    • Lifelike scenes/moving paintings on the wall
      • Animated
      • Skeletons
      • Giant skeleton pulling a giant hammer
      • Black sky above us with pillars of fire in the distance
    • We notice movement on the wall and we see a great flaming stead
      • Charging directly towards us
      • The bard investigates
        • It could be hells
        • It could be the plane of fire
      • Lorian sees something on the ceiling
        • Something is carved on the ceiling
          • Letters
            • T, N, E, M, H, S, I, R, U, O, N
      • The flaming stead hits the wall and is trying to get into the room
        • Starts circling
      • I feed the horse and the horse calms down
        • The nightmare scene crumbles
      • The room starts to change and the room becomes calm and peaceful
        • The walls seem to basically melt and the horse becomes white and is a unicorn
      • The new scene is an eden like garden
    • Door with a dragon door knob
  • Fourth Room
    • Door opens in
    • Another room
      • Huge room
    • Large clear cube of ice
    • Room is freezing cold
    • We are on a 15ft high platform
    • The floor seems to be ice
    • Columns sticking up out of the floor
    • I jump across the one of the platforms
      • There is a joypad like lever
    • We kill a couple of gelatinous cubes
    • When frozen, they die easily
    • One has the key in it
    • At the top of the cliff
      • Another twelve sided start that looks like a portal
        • Has a keyhole
      • Portal springs to life
  • Fifth room
    • Well-lit gray room
    • 40square feet across
    • 15ft high ceiling
    • 6 doors in the center of the room
      • Numbered 1-6
        • Letters on the stone back of each door
          • 1 - N
          • 2 - E
          • 3 - E
          • 4 - _
          • 5 - V
          • 6 - S
    • Another door behind us against the wall
      • When we open two doors that equal total of 7
        • A new space opens behind them
          • There’s a boulder field back there
  • Sixth Room
    • In a huge space that looks like a large battlefield
      • No ceiling
      • Open clear starry night
      • Small stone plinth
      • large golden key
      • Elevated platform far away that is glowing
    • We pick up the key and it causes a beholder kin to appear
      • We mostly just run and get out of the room
      • Thrainly goes backwards through the previous
  • Seventh Room
    • I roll a nat 20 and see a string ZZZZZ’s
      • We are contemplating whether to take a rest
      • We’re going to long rest
        • Then we know to count the sheep
